An 18-year-old girl originally from South Asia presents with intermittent pain in her right hand for six weeks. She was diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis two years ago, and then underwent a full six-month course of antituberculous therapy. Followup a year later showed no evidence of recurrence. Her surgical and family histories are unremarkable. She is not on any medications currently. Her ESR is 120 mm/h.
